Network Software Engineer

This curriculum is designed to expose the student to Microsoft Windows 2003 networking operating system. The student will learn to operate, install, troubleshoot, configure and analyze business requirement needs.
If the student wishes to pursue Microsoft certification, this curriculum prepares the student for Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certification and for further study leading to Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) certification.
This course will also prepare the student for Network+ certification. Earning this certification will mean that the student possesses the knowledge needed to configure and install the TCP/IP client. This certification covers a wide range of vendor and product neutral networking technologies that can serve as a perquisite for vendor specific Information Technology certifications.
During the last module of the training program, the student will learn job search skills which will prepare the student for locating employment.
Prerequisites: Pass Technical Placement Exam or be A+ certified.
